Prerequesite: Template needs to be activated ☑ before trying to create projects with it. Read more
Create Jira projects based on project templates
Click on ‘Create’ in the templates table
2. Create project modal dialog appears. Enter project details
Notes:
Project names need to be unique
Project keys need to be unique, start with uppercase letter, followed by more uppercase letter or numbers and max 10 characters. Read more
3. Click on ‘Create’
Success message appears, including links to project or project settings
Alternatively an error message will appear, telling you what went wrong.
